La Peau De Chagrin - Theatre in Holland Park's Orangery

La Peau De Chagrin is a 19th century novel by Honore de Balzac.

This adaptation is a promenade performance centred around the Orangery in of Holland Park. The audience will follow the actors as their story unfolds amongst the gardens and arcades. This a new adaptation of La Peau De Chagrin.

The Story


Disillusioned and desperate, Raphael enters into covenant with an ancient and powerful talisman. He gains the unrestrained gratification of his desires, but at a terrible price.

  1. The brochure says the best entrance to Holland Park is Ilchester Place. Is Abbotsbury Road better?
